WELCOME SOPHIE!

I broke... All the allergy shots have paid off. I got a new puppy - and she's so adorable. She's a Mini-Daschund and weighs just about 4 lbs. She could get as big as 10-12 lbs!

Here's my niece Sammy meeting 11 week old Sophie for the first time. We're proud and happy to have our little Sophie Palmer in our family! She certainly does have the personality of a Palmer, rowdy and full of energy!

Palmer original "Van Bleu" painting donated to D.C.'s Dance Place

Dance Place is a world-class center for the performing arts in the Nation's Capital of Washington, D.C.. For over 20 years, Dance Place has been presenting dance performances, festivals, and classes in a variety of styles including Modern, African, Salsa, and Hip Hop. In addition, Dance Place sponsors a range of programs aimed at helping youth from low-income families from across the city. These programs--which we call our NEXTgeneration programs-- help children become responsible, creative and healthy adults with life skills training, performing arts experience, and academic enrichment.

Dance Place is planning a fall fundraiser, on October 30th, for their NEXTgeneration youth programs. The fundraiser will consist of a 'Surprise Party' gala which will feature performances, music, dancing, good food, and a silent auction.

Howie's Fishing Tales

I finally have my animated movies and some other projects on my online portfolio. "Howie's Fishing Tales: Turtle Soup" was my MFA thesis... an animated movie I produced all by myself from script to storyboard to animatic to pencil tests to animation to editing to soundtrack... TO I GOT MY MFA. I hope you enjoy it. If I had the computer I have now then, it would have been a much smoother motion. But still, it was a fun little movie!
